Bad Dream

I had a bad dream that my old cat got so skinny that her fur and skin were gone between her ribs. You could see her internal organs and everything. We kept thinking that it was time to put her to sleep because it looked like a painful condition, but she seemed to be okay other than being a little more tired than usual. I wasn't ready to let her go yet, but I knew it would only be days before she would hurt her internal organs or get an infection. I had to start saying goodbye.
